MS 348, Washington Heights Expeditionary School Visits the Mediation Center
Last week, four classes of 7th graders from Washington Heights Expeditionary School, MS 348, visited the Mediation Center as part of a cross-curriculum trip to explore the culture and geography of Brooklyn. We discussed the different cultures in the community, how they interact, and the role of the Mediation Center in Crown Heights. We all had a great time comparing and contrasting Crown Heights and Washington Heights and were pleased to be a stop on their tour.
S.O.S. program manager, Lisa Jones, quizzes students on problem-solving strategies at the Mediation Center.
Students listen to our director, Amy Ellenbogen, as she tells them the history of Crown Heights and the Mediation Center.
